วาโบ้กับผองเพื่อน Wabo and his farm friends
ฟาร์มแห่งหนึ่ง มีวัวมากมาย และมีเจ้าวาโบ้ สุนัขที่เจ้าของได้ฝากฝังไว้ให้ทำหน้าที่คอยดูแลวัวทั้งหลายในฟาร์ม
“เราจะดูแลทุกคนเอง” วาโบ้ยิ้มร่าและบอกกับเพื่อนๆ ของเขา ซึ่งก็คือวัวทุกๆ ตัวในฟาร์ม ด้วยความที่วาโบ้เป็นสุนัขที่สุภาพและใจดี อีกทั้งยังคอยดูและวัวได้เป็นอย่างดีมาตลอด วัวทุกตัวจึงเชื่อฟังเขา
ทุกๆ คืนวาโบ้จะเรียกให้วัวทุกตัวมารวมกัน แล้วพูดว่า
“เพื่อนๆ จ๋า ถึงเวลาต้องพาเข้านอนแล้ว เพื่อนๆ พร้อมแล้วหรือยังจ๊ะ”
เมื่อวัวทุกตัวได้ยินวาโบ้พูดดังนั้น ก็จะมาเข้าแถวเรียงหนึ่งพร้อมที่จะเข้าคอกไปนอนประจำที่ของตนเหมือนเช่นทำวัน
แต่วันนี้กลับมีวัวตัวหนึ่งพูดขึ้นว่า
“ข้ายังไม่อยากนอนเลย อยากจะขอให้ท่านวาโบ้เล่านิทานให้พวกข้าฟังก่อนได้ไหม”
วาโบ้ผู้ใจดีได้ยินดังนั้นก็ตกลงว่าจะเล่านิทานให้ผองเพื่อนฟัง
“กาลครั้งหนึ่งมีวัวหลายตัว กลัวหมาป่ากันมาก มีอยู่วันหนึ่งหมาป่าได้กลิ่นวัว ก็เลยเรียกพรรคพวกมาเฝ้าดูที่ฟาร์ม และโจมตีตอนกลางคืน”
เมื่อวันทั้งหลายได้ยินคำว่าหมาป่า ก็ตกใจกลัว ขยับเข้ามาใกล้ๆ กัน
“ในฟาร์มนั้นไม่มีสุนัขคอยดูแล หมาป่าจึงเข้าทำร้ายวัวได้โดยง่าย โดยที่วัวแต่ละตัวต่างก็กระเจิดกระเจิงกันไปคนละทาง”
จู่ๆ วัวตัวเดิมก็ถามขึ้นอีกว่า
“มอ มอ ถ้าเราหลับไป หมาป่าตัวใหญ่มากัด ทำไง!?”
เหล่าผองเพื่อนวัวได้ยินก็ตกใจกลัวกันใหญ่ วาโบ้จึงพูดขึ้นว่า
“พวกเจ้าไมต้องกลัวหรอก วาโบ้อยู่ที่นี่ คอยจ้องอย่างดี ชีวิตพวกเจ้าจะปลอดภัย ตากลมของเรา จะเป็นเหมือนกับกล้องวงจรปิด ที่หากมีใครทุกร้อน ก็จะพร้อมช่วยทันใด”
วัวทั้งหลายได้ยินดังนั้นก็รู้สึกอุ่นใจ วาโบ้ยังพูดต่อว่า
“จงอย่ากังวล เราจะเห่าไล่ ไม่ให้ใครมาทำร้ายพวกเจ้าได้ โฮ่ง โฮ่ง”
วัวทั้งหลายหันไปยิ้มให้กัน แล้วเรียงแถวกันเดินเข้าไปในคอกอย่างว่าง่าย แต่ก่อนที่คอกจะปิด วัวตัวเดิมก็หันมาหาวาโบ้พร้อมกับพูดว่า
“ขอบคุณ วาโบ้ พวกเราคงนอนฝันดี ราตรีสวัสดิ์”
หลังจากคืนนั้นวัวทั้งหลายก็อยู่ในฟาร์มกันอย่างมีความสุข ไร้ความกังวล เพราะวัวทุกตัวเชื่อว่าวาโบ้จะสามารถดูแลพวกเขาให้ปลอดภัยได้
ซึ่งวาโบ้เองก็ยินดีที่จะทำเช่นนั้น
Who is Wabo?
Wabo the Guard-o-Pup is a very special robot dog. He has CCTV camera eyes that let him see and watch everything around him. He works hard every night to be sure that everyone is safe, just like a real guard dog. But sometimes, Wabo makes mistakes and gives a false alarm. Maybe he sees a shadow and thinks it is a bad guy, but it's just a tree. Sometimes his programming makes him upset, such as if he cannot find the intruder and then he feels like he's not doing his job.
But his inventor, programmed him to know that mistakes are a part of learning and growing. Just like how a puppy learns how to be a good guard dog, Wabo must learn too. And his inventor is always there to help when he makes mistakes, to fix any problems, and give him new skills to do his job better.
So, Wabo does not have to worry about making mistakes or feeling unsured, because he knows that he's not alone and he's always learning and growing. And at the end of the night, when he has done his job, he can rest and play, just like a real dog. He is the Guard-o-Pup, the best robot guard dog ever!
1 "Watchdog Wabo" Your loyal protector always on the lookout
2 Once upon a time in the countryside, there lived a little robot dog named Wabo.
He was a very special dog and was always there to take care of the house and the people who lived inside. Wabo said, “I will watch over you!”.
3 Every night when it was time for bed, Wabo would gather all his friends around and tell them a bedtime story. "It's time for bed now. Are you ready to snuggle up and get some rest?" "Meow, Wabo, I'm not tired yet. I want a bedtime story."
4As he told the story he would remind them of his special function. My security camera eyes never rest, they're always on the lookout for danger. "Don't worry, my friends, I'm here to keep you safe."
5 Wabo has big, round eyes that are actually security cameras. He uses them to keep watch over his friends and protect them from danger.“Wabo's here to keep an eye on everything."
6 Don't worry friends, I won't let anything happen to you. I'm here to protect you and keep you safe. And if anything comes here, I'll bark and chase it away. Grr! Grr!"" But what if the big, bad wolf comes and gets me? "
7 As Wabo finished his bedtime story, his friends all clapped and thanked him for such a wonderful tale. Hoo! hoo! hoo!"Okay, Wabo. I trust you. I'll close my eyes and go to sleep."
8 "Wabo's here to keep an eye on everything." And with that, Wabo's friends would snuggle down into their beds and close their eyes, feeling safe and loved as they drifted off to sleep."Thank you, Wabo! I will rest now!"
9 Wabo's here to keep you safe and sound as you drift off to sleep, he'll watch all around. So close your eyes and don't you fear, Wabo's here and he's got you covered. "All the friends snuggled down into his bed and fell fast asleep feeling safe and loved, thanks to his loyal friend Wabo
10 Wabo smiled and gave them each a hug before he settled down for the night himself. As he drifted off to sleep, he knew that he had done his job well, keeping his friends safe and sound.
